Obama Welcomes New OH Cops – Sure Going To Need Them

by admin on March 6, 2009

Today President Barack Obama traveled to Columbus Ohio to attend the graduation ceremony  of 25 new Police Officers. He accredited their graduation to his economic stimulus package.

President Obama, still sounding like he was on the campaign trail, took the opportunity to bolster support for his liberal pinhead administration and his economic stimulus package for most of his speech. He did manage to congratulate the police cadets at one point.

The family and friends of these brave new Police Officers went to the graduation for one reason, that was to celebrate  the occasion, not listen to political propaganda.  When I graduated from the New York City Police Academy the public officials that spoke did not use the opportunity to talk about themselves and their administration, they used it to congratulate and praise the new Police Officers starting off their law enforcement careers.

President Obama is right when it comes to hiring more Police Officers, we are sure going to need them. As fuel and food prices rise, as more and more people find themselves without a job and as more people find their retirement savings and Homes are worth so much less crime will rise, it is enviable.

In the month of February we lost 651,000 jobs and had an unemployment rate of 8.1 percent. Now at the highest rates in 25 years.
