Glenn Beck has started a new web community called “The912Project” , according to Glenn Beck it is a place for like minded Americans who are looking for direction in taking back control of our Country. The core of the project is what Glenn is calling the 9 principles and the 12 values. I have listed them below because and I am going to even simplify them even further. Glenn’s idea is awesome and we love to visit and participate in the debate there, but I like the “KISS” (Keep it Simple Stupid) principal better.
The 9 Principles
1) America Is Good.
2) I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3) I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4) The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5) If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6) I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7) I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8) It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9) The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
The 12 Values
1) Honesty
2) Reverence
3) Hope
4) Thrift
5) Humility
6) Charity
7) Sincerity
8) Moderation
9) Hard Work
10) Courage
11) Personal Responsibility
12) Gratitude
That is a big list at 21 total items but we can shorten it into 3 basic rules that cover everything in our lives today.
The 3 Rules to Live By
1) God
2) Family
3) Country
Let’s take them one at a time.
1) God is the first rule, no other rule can come in conflict with it as God has the final say in all things.
2) Family is the second rule and is the center of our lives, nothing can conflict or endanger the family but family cannot conflict with the first rule, God.
3) Country is the third rule and it is our home, it is America. We protect her as we protect our families. Country does NOT mean government and country cannot come into conflict with either Family or God.
That’s it simple and covers all 9 Principles and 12 values that Glenn speaks of.
These 3 rules also remarkably equal the top 3 things Liberal Pinheads hate the most.
1) Liberals hate God because they cannot except any other authority except themselves.
2) Liberals hate family because it is a source of stability and strength.
3) Liberals hate America as it was founded by the American Constitution. The want to change it and destroy the American God loving Family. The want a flock sheep with no pesky families or gods to interfere with them
So remember 9+12=3
