I really wanted to stay away from this subject because I really wanted to believe that such a blatant disregard for the law and Constitution could not be possible in the country.
I was chatting to my best friend, who just so happens to be my wife of 18 years now, and we were discussing a story that keeps popping up in our inbox. The story deals with the theory that Barack Obama may not be a United States citizen and therefore could not legally hold the elected position of President of the United States of America.
Now I have been putting this off as I could not believe that it could be possible to even think about getting away with this. I am a bit familiar with background checks as I was put through a thorough background check when I became a Police Officer. I had to provide all the documents they required, take psychological and medical tests and they even sent investigators to my friends, family and neighbors to check up on me. So I really could not conceive that a person running for the President of the United States would not be given an even more thorough investigation.
Now we were thinking that if we were ever being accused of not being a natural born citizen of the United States it would be a simple matter to just give the investigating parties the documents required to prove that were indeed born in America. Even if the people concerned with our citizenship were not an official government agency we would want to shut them up and give them the proof they required.
So the question came to our minds why the hell would Barack Obama not do this! Just to shut the people up accusing him of not being an American Citizen! Why would he let the controversy continue about if was really qualified to be President and if he was a Natural Born Citizen of the United States.
So President Obama why not give these people what they want to shut them up? Why not produce your original birth certificate to show them that you are indeed a citizen of the United States and not an Illegal immigrant like your Auntie Zeituni
