Have them run a five year test case with just law enforcement handguns to see how this works before imposing the restriction on the public. Oh, and have an independent agency audit the results so they can't just declare success without facts to back it up. My hunch is that you will hear wailing and gnashing of teeth from the LEO community about how it's too expensive and unproven technology. You know, all the reasons we object to this would suddenly become a real issue when the tables were turned. How about a compromise.
