Economy Slowing Does Not Equal End Of Recession

by admin on August 2, 2009

A few times this week I have had my liberal friends tell me they think the recession is over.  When asked why they think that, they do not have anything to point back to.  They say things like “it seems like the economy is getting better”.

recessionThen Newsweek’s cover said “recession is over” and the president talks about things getting better.  People this is all smoke and mirrors.  The media is hyping things like the economy is getting better, its not getting better just slowing down but still getting worse.

But why?

Because the liberals needs something to rally behind to get Universal Health Care past, they need American to get behind them and they have to point to something that is a win for them.

Inconvenient truths:

Unemployment is still on the

GPD down 1% last quarter and 2nd quarter was one of the worst in history.

Foreclosures/Short Sales here in California are on the rise.

It is all just one big shell game to get their agenda passed.
