Is Military Experience Required for President?
Good question, and I really thing the answer is yes, especially with the current state of the world. Both Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama have zero Military experience. In peace time this may not be a concern, but with Iraq, Afghanistan and various other hot spots in the world getting ready to erupt why would we want anyone in the Presidential seat that has zero Military experience in their background?
No it is pretty funny to see how people chance their opinions on this issue. Take Howard Dean ( BIG Pinhead BTW), the leader of the DEMONcratic party. Back in March of 2004 when John Kerry was running for President he stated:
”Who would you rather have in charge of the defense of the United States of America, a group of people who never served a day overseas in their life, or a guy who served his country honorably and has three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star on the battlefields of Vietnam?”
Now in 2008, he has this to say:
“While we honor McCain’s military service, the fact is Americans want a real leader who offers real solutions, not a blatant opportunist who doesn’t understand the economy and is promising to keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years.”
It seems that Howie has a short memory, and is insulting to John McCain in my opinion. But hey the DEMONcrats have fallen in love with insulting people ever since the left wing of their party has taken control.
By the way DEMONcrat is not an insult, just an observation.
